Ripple completed the acquisition of Standard Custody & Trust Company on Tuesday, June 11. The acquisition is pivotal for Ripple as it aligns with its strategy to support its enterprise infrastructure solutions. The acquisition by supports Ripple’s ambition to integrate blockchain technology into the global financial system. This move is expected to foster its plans for the Stablecoin launch. Notably, the key highlight of the acquisition was the appointment of Standard Custody CEO Jack McDonald as Senior Vice President of Stablecoins at Ripple.
