The Animoca Brands Chairman has said that Hong Kong asset managers are working to include staking in the spot ETH ETFs to get the staking feature award approved this year. Hashkey is also formulating a proposal to introduce ether staking. Blocdaemon is in talks with Hong Kong ETF issuers and custodians to explore the possibility of offering staking services for the ETFs. Industry participants aim to have the staking feature approved as soon as this year because that’s considered to be the biggest ‘missing piece’.
